Biggest Loser Question?
Now those of you that watched last night; remember the challenge and Jay won and had a choice between 1 pound loss or $10,000 dollars. Now seriously who would’ve took the 1 pound vs. the $10,000 dollars. I personally would’ve taken the CASH!!
No contest - CASH!
Uh yeah, cash would be my vote too!
Yep me too!
You mean he didn’t take the cash, dumb move.
I agree the cash.
The pound
I would have taken the pound knowing how many times it had come down to just one pound and just imagine if he had to leave at that point in the game over 1 pound.
The $10,000 could never make up for that.
I think they are so determined and want to be there so badly that they would do everything they could to better their chances of staying.
Remember too that he was very close to going home last week so I’m sure those feelings were fresh in his mind too. I think he was under the yellow line last week wasn’t he?
Thats my opinion.
Yup $10,000 is a lot of money and it would hurt to give it up no doubt about that.
Lori

I would say the cash, but at the same time I see the lbs too. I mean if he wins the whole contest then he has won tons more than that. It would be a toss up for me.
It would be a hard decision, but I see where he is coming from. There have been a lot of times where 1 lb. has put someone below the yellow line.
Have a good one!

the money. but i see why he took the pound. it’s just at some point you have to wonder if you’re going to be #1 Big Loser and if not, might as well get the moeny elsewhere.
Oh my goodness! I don’t have a T.V. so I’ve never watched the biggest loser… but on top of all the temptations that hold us back from looking our best they decide to throw money in there too??! OUCH! I would have had to take the cash and run like Forrest Gump!
the cash!
this week on Australian biggest loser the biggest loser for the week was offered $50,000 as a prize if she was willing to leave the house.
She refused the money and chose to stay in the house instead!

I was gonna say cash, but then I saw Lori’s answer, and I had to stop and think. I would prob take the money(knowing me), But you do have think about how hard it can be to lose even one pound. No amount of money can buy that.

It does make ya think thats for sure
Good blog Angela
Lori

I would’ve taken the pound. I agree with Lori. At this point it all about the numbers. Unfortunately with Jay he hasn’t always lost enough to save hiself. His team had to make up his slack. So in his case he made the right decision. I guess for me it would depend on how I thought I stood in the game. If I was consistently losing, with good numbers, I might take the money but its all a huge game. I am glad I am not stuck making that kind of decision. lol

money for sure. i mean, really, he was bound to have a decent number this week with bob on his hiney and him pulling a low number last week. him and mark are too annoying for me to really think about it anymore. i saw the clip for next week and those freakin’ brothers are crying again!!! please make it stop. p.s. i just read your other blog. you’re always in my prayers and way to go on the skinny jeans. you are such an inspiration to me. please pray for me, too.
The pound. If he stays in the game, he has a chance at the $250,000 prize, but even if he doesn’t get that, the knowlegde he will acquire by staying in the game as long as possible, is quite frankly–PRICELESS!
I would’ve taken the $50,000 hired a personal trainer and came back looking real good and with some money in my pocket! What are they not thinking? lol
