The Economy is…..WHAT? So bad………………..

Well anyone who hasn’t noticed it’s sad but true our economy is the pits right now.  Knowing this from putting my house up for sale.  2 years ago it was listed at $386,000. Even with all the money and upgrades we have put in the house we can’t list it for more than $340,o00 WHAT?  Man I can’t wait to get to TEXAS.  I was kinda sad and cried for about 2 hours yesterday because we have a huge house and put alot into it!

Oh well all I can say is things will get better once we’re off this expensive EAST COAST! Things are going good for hubby and me and dupree lol. They have great after school programs in Texas right at his job and it’s going to be great.  I think my older daughter Heather will be coming also she said mom I’ve never been without you. Awwwwwwwwwwww well we will definitely have more than enough room and since there are so many buddies here from texas I will have to have a buddyslim reunion lol lol

Diet not so well I think I’ve been stress eating but that has to stop I have to get weighed in for my contest Saturday and I definitely need the money now so systems are go.

Everyone have a wonderful day and please just keep me and my family in your prayers as we work through this transition!  Thanks Angela

Girl you know your in my prayers. Don’t worry about the money, I know that’s easier said then done, but when you get to Texas you will be living like King’s and Queens. I know it pisses you off that your house listed for less then you thought, but you’ll get over the hurdle and you will be happy in the end.

You better get your ass in gear for Saturday. We are supposed to be hyped about this contest we need the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    Luv ya much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome! Glad things are going so well for you and hubby! Have really been praying! Sorry, about you not being able to list your house for what it is worth!
Now let Billy work out those extra calories, and have a great day!

We know very well all about the housing market here in San Diego, where I think it has hit harder than anywhere else.
Houses that were listed for sale just one year ago at $500,000-$650,000 are now going for $400,000’s. It’s pretty bad. So many forecloures, so many families out of thier homes. I truly think God was looking over us when our offer for a house got rejected by the owner back in May 2007. We offered $590,000 for it, she wanted $620,000. Now it’s for sale at $495,000. We sure dodged a bullet!!!!

So glad things are going so well for you and to move South in the winter sounds blissful! Just think, whatever you buy in TX will be cheaper than they paid too so it’ll all work out! Moving is totally stressful though so make sure you take care of yourself and pack those Billy tapes last!!! Good luck on the weigh in this week.

(Perk!) BuddySlim reunion? I’m from Texas! I wanna come… purleeeeeeeeeeeeeezzz? lol

I know making a move like this is a stressful transition for you, but you’ll be just fine. And I think you will love it here. Try to channel that stress elsewhere besides food. Ask yourself those 2 important questions - Am I truly hungry? and Is it good for me?. If the answers are no, then try short bursts of quick walking whenever you can, making long lists of things you have to get done… pray… meditate and breath deep for a few minutes. Pick up the phone and call Billy… *grins*

I can’t help but giggle out loud everytime you say “dupree”… hehe…

    Hugggggggggggggs,
    Shan

Wohooo, Texas is awesome! If you are going to live in Houston google The Woodlands, Tx. go to har.com and you will find great houses in this community. This is a master planned community that has tons of walking trails, a park in every corner, fishing ponds, a grocery and a strip mall in every neighborhood, there is nightly entertainment, great diversity, you will meet people from every country and area of the USA imaginable, and it is an easy commut to Houston. This is not your average community, you would love it!

Totally up for a Texas slimbuddy reunion!

    Angela,
That’s sad about your home, HOWEVER—the good news is–it’s the same way here in Houston!!!!! You can get a big ole home for dirt cheap :) It’s all gonna work out!!!!

Glad that things are working out for you and Hubby. I am so happy for you. You deserve this. Hang in there Angela, and just do the best you can with your diet. Its so hard to stay focused when there is so much going on in our lives. Know that your buddy from Michigan(where the Economy really sucks…LOL) will be here for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you always…
