I’m MOVING to TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright so for the past month or so my hubby and i have been having serious disagreements on where to relocate. I wanted to move to OHIO it was too cold for him understandable seeing he is from Jamaica. So he wanted TEXAS and I said hell no! Well i visited this week and I was so impressed and simply loved it! We had an agent meet us and show us homes and I loved it. I went to the AMTRAK station in Houston and visited and loved it! SO I’M MOVING TO TEXAS YEEE-HAWWW!!!
We rented a car and drove around and it was simply breathtaking so spacious so just words can’t express. We went to his job site in Texas at Continental and his boss drove us around! So my house is going up for sale and I’ll buy a townhouse or something in Pa still going to work at AMTRAK until a transfer comes through and commute to TEXAS on the airplane it’s free! So to all my TEXAS buddies this eastcoast gal will be joining you soon, WW, Toni, Lyssa, Nyssa see yall real soon lol.
Yeah and Jackie thank you for always being there and helping me to see things as they really are. Love you girl!!!!
ooooh warm weather…..Congrats!
I love Texas. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it.
I’ve never been to Texas, but I have a couple really close buddys here from Texas!! Good luck on your new journey…sounds like fun to me!!
Texas is wonderful!! My summers since I was a baby were spent in Texas with my grandparents. I have always wanted to move there. Congrats on the decision!!
I have always loved Texas! What a great place to relocate!

YEEEHHHHAAWWWWWW!!!!!!! I am glad you are so excited!!!! I moved to Houston 15 years ago and I love it here. I lived in the med center for 10 year and now I am in the burbs (pearland). We moved from Chicago so it was a big change but I never want to move back north. We orignally only came for 5 years but my husband got a good job offer and the quality of life and cost of living is very good for such a big city–we just couldn’t leave! Please let me know if you need any info–I would be happy to help!!! Good luck with everything!!!!!
Seems like the road to happiness has finally smoothed out for you. I am so happy for you. I wish you all the health and happiness in the world. You deserve it.
Although at times I like to beat your stubborn ass but it’s all out of love. Wish you the best sweetie.
Well Howdy Howdy,

Remember everything is bigger in Texas especially portion sizes and trucks. I love my Texas though. Welcome to the Lone Star State!!
Oh and P.s.
No state income taxes!!
You sound really excited! I am happy for you!
I love Texas! I grew up in Austin and I love it there big time. Texas has lots to do and the people here are friendly. Good luck with all your plans!
Coming down south, a little too far to the west though!…Hay the south is the south either way! Come on down!….You know everything will workout, didn’t I tell you so!

Welcome to Texas! I live about 90 miles east of Houston on the TX/LA border in Orange. Other than the muggies and occasional hurricane, you will love the weather. It is almost tropical so your hubby will feel very much at home. Most of what they say about southerners is true - we are genteel and welcoming (most of us, anyway!). I hope you enjoy the lone star state. (P.S. In addition to no state income tax, there is also no wage garnishment in Texas for debts other than child support, alimony or IRS levies.)
I am so happy for you Angela…I wish you and your hubby all the best. I know that things are going to be great for you in Texas ;o)
Good luck with yuour plans to move! How exciting!

WHOOO HOOOO, now you are sooo much closer to me, we will only be 3 hours apart!!! WHOO HOOO
