Just finished 30 minutes on my NEW TREADMILL!!!!

First of all; let me say this…I feel like I have been to Treadmill school. ( My husband just put it up last night; had to wait with preparing for my baby to go to college and all). After shopping and shopping and looking around and comparing…I finally found a good treadmill and at all places WALMART!!! That’s right!  Let me say it’s not the quantity but the quality and I compared and compared and finally it was the one that I wanted.  It is an IMAGE 17.5 S - The Long Distance Training Treadmill.  It has 4 weightloss workouts, 4 distance and Calorie workouts - 0 to 10 incline,  my tracks step counter and individual Weight input.  Has 5k and 10k workouts  and has a 5 year warranty on the motor.  Now I could’ve spent $2,000 and up but why waste money when you can get the same exact options without the expensive name (Gold’s, Nordiatrack etc.) which Walmart also carries - (Gold’s Gym 600) it had the swinging arms attached which I didn’t care for; some of the one’s in Sears didn’t have the options that I have; and the sporting good stores had nice ones but too bulky and complicated for me; but all in all My IMAGE is great and works for me. Also it’s cute and not bulky and manly looking - but sturdy enough to hold up to 275 lbs. ( thank God I lost some weight first lol) some of those treadmills look like BIG MONSTERS (UGH) anyway it folds away nicely and it’s big enough to hold me so that is all that matters lol and I paid ready for this ….$498.00 is the sticker price but once you add extra’s like extended warranties (all the treadmill supplies oil, matts etc.) and tax it came to  $895.00 (I bought alot of accessories - lol)!!!!! My husband was like are you sure this is what you want? I’m like yeah; I’m sure ! He said okay; because you can have whichever one you want.  He gave me $1,500 in addition to the money I won at CURVES and I kissed him and said thank you sweetie but this will suffice.  I said to myself… I know he didn’t think I was spending almost $4,000 on a treadmill….not me! lol Clothes, Shoes, Purses, Perfume, 500 threadcount sheets; and Vacations without a doubt I’d spend $4,000 grand; but not on a treadmill!

Anyway mine is awesome; just finished 30 minutes on the 5,000 mile program. I had it on 2.2 speed and burned 150 calories (whew - hoo)!  I was sweating harder than when I do taebo (can’t figure that out) but it was great! For those shopping for Treadmills do your research and homework buy what suits you and works for you. It’s not how much it cost - but what qualities it offers!  Now my new workout goals are as follows:

Treadmill - 6 times a week Monday - Saturday (30 minutes) morning and evening!  So that’s 1,500 calories burned a week!  I could cheat a whole day lol (Just kidding)!

Curves 4 times a week! Monday - Thursday!

Taebo  3 times a week! Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday!

So who says I can’t lose 43 lbs by January - you’re kidding me right?  I’ll have these pounds off in no time!!!

Awesome! Having something like that at home can be great when you can’t make it to the gym or have a little excess energy at the end of the day. If I were a gambling man I’d put a little bet on you reaching your goal!

I need to drag out my elliptical. I’d started to get a bit to heavy for it, but think I might be OK now.

You’re gonna wear that treadmill out!! Go for it. I love to be able to exercise at home and when the moment hits me— exercise again. A lot of anger and calories get burned up that way. So happy for you. Nice husband, too. Hugs, Marge

I am so proud of you planning it all out and breaking that new treadmill in. There is no doubt you will be 43lbs smaller by January at that rate ya may even make it before then. Listen to your body though with all the workouts and don’t push it too hard.
