My baby is in West Virginia
Okay, so my baby daughter Brittany (17 just graduated from High School) and has been accepted to West Virginia University is down there for orientation. She’s called a thousand times and is so excited. She just called with her schedule and simply loves it! She has her ID and is estatic. Meanwhile I’m sitting here at my desk….yes you guessed it in tears…my baby is going away to college! All I can say is Thank God!!! I am so proud of her!!!! I know I will miss her so much.

Oh Angela - I can only imagine. My kids are only 6 and 2. But this week my son went to boyscout camp and I have been down in the dumps all week. It is so hard to let them go!! I can’t imagine when he (they) goes to college!! But you can say you have done a wonderful job raising your daughter. Sounds like she grew up to be a very bright young lady and that is something to be proud of!! Way to go!!
Angela: is truly is a blessing that you have raised wonderful children and instilled values of truth, love, God, and responsiblity… so that at a moment like this when she is off to begin her life.. that she has the strenght of her parents with her. You raise a beautiful daughter. Shed those tears of JOY!!!! Lets celebrate her new beginnings!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t imagine how you feel. Its wonderful you raised such a responsible and smart daughter. She will love it here in Morgantown, there is always something to do and college students make up over half of town. You have every right to cry those tears of joy you did a terrific job and because you did so she is able to leave home and get an excellent education.
I can’t say I know the feeling, but I know of it. Like my little sister graudate this year and she is leaving August first to Lewiston. I am going to miss her so much. But you will get through. Hang in there.
I undserstand, my daughter lives in Boston, which is a long way from Arizona. It does get better!

Sounds like Mom did a great job raising her baby girl. Awesome! I wish her the best of luck and I wish you the same because your baby is growing up. But I think it’s awesome. You can now move into a different phase of being a mom. More of a friend too. And good luck with your weigh in! I hope you hear great news!

.
Tears of happiness. I’m excited for you and your daughter. You must be so proud to have raised such an independent and accomplished woman!!!
