Hey Guys:????? Today is my big day again and I’m always excited about my weigh-in’s!? Last week I lost 1 pound and I know why.? I was working out like crazy but not eating enough so when you starve yourself or eat 1,200 calories? or less a day your body goes into ‘STARVATION MODE’. What that means is that your body thinks you are starving and tries to save you.? Your body learns how to efficiently run without burning as many calories (YOUR METABOLISM SLOWS DOWN) in order to save every calorie.? So trust me eat, eat, and eat….but less, less and less.? I’m usually not a breakfast eater but for the last three days I’ve been eating Wheat toast and yogurt and today I weigh myself on my scale and I’m down 3 pounds you see you lose weight when you burn more than you consume so by all means eat 3 meals or 6 small meals and I am totally not a breakfast person but it helps.? I am so proud of you!! You’re doing a great job and trust me, the weight will come off if you keep on doing what you’re doing and stay positive.
You’re absolutely right about eating too little. Before I started this program, I rarely, if ever, ate anything before 2 p.m. and by the time I went to bed, I had gorged with all kinds of bad for you foods. Now I eat breakfast and find that I eat less. Go figure.
Keep up the good work and stay focused. You’ll reach goal before you know it AND make some valuable changes to your life. That’s worth it all.
