Excited!

Well I was very excited until I notice that one of my buddies was down; but you all keep her in your prayers and encourage her!!!  Anyway I lost 2 pounds in my weigh in yesterday and I was really happy!  The key to weight loss as I found out is to eat breakfast…I’m also working out in the morning Tae-bo and Curves in the evening.  I do 100 sit-ups after each exercise and I’m shooting for 4 pounds next week. slowly but surely the weight is coming off and the size 18 is already starting to get too big!  YEAH!!!!

Weigh-In today!

Hey Guys:????? Today is my big day again and I’m always excited about my weigh-in’s!? Last week I lost 1 pound and I know why.? I was working out like crazy but not eating enough so when you starve yourself or eat 1,200 calories? or less a day your body goes into ‘STARVATION MODE’. What that means is that your body thinks you are starving and tries to save you.? Your body learns how to efficiently run without burning as many calories (YOUR METABOLISM SLOWS DOWN) in order to save every calorie.? So trust me eat, eat, and eat….but less, less and less.? I’m usually not a breakfast eater but for the last three days I’ve been eating Wheat toast and yogurt and today I weigh myself on my scale and I’m down 3 pounds you see you lose weight when you burn more than you consume so by all means eat 3 meals or 6 small meals and I am totally not a breakfast person but it helps.? Off today!

Hey Buddies:

I took off today to do some things for me!? So I went to curves at 8:30 a.m. and did a power workout!? 1 whole hour!? I have a goal of 4 pounds for my next weigh-in on Wednesday.? I still feel great in spite of my bad news and everything will work out great!? I’m also going to work out again at 5:00 p.m.? I HAVE A GOAL TO ACCOMPLISH!? Anyway everyone have a wonderful memorial day weekend….stay on track!!!!? SMILE

Hey Maggie and Toni you guys are a blessing to me!? Thanks for the encouragement.? I will always remember to give you two special shouts!? You make my day!??

Work out

whenever you feel tired, sad, alone or get bad news… just work it off!  I got a bit of bad new this afternoon and felt down ….well I just came back from curves and the blues are gone and it’s still sunny….I think I’m going to be alright.  Thanks for all your wonderful blogs, comments, suggestions, etc.  Maggie and Toni you are sweethearts!

Bad News

I got a bit of bad news and wanted to eat a box of twinkies; but it’ll all work out okay and instead I drank a bottle of water!!! How’s that for determination.

1 Pound lost

Well guys as I sent to all my buddies I only lost 1 pound at my weigh-in; but there’s still a silver lining I lost mega INCHES!!!!  Remember it’s not all about the weight ; but the percentage of weight loss and as I can still be encouraged I send this out to all of you;  WE CAN AND WILL SUCCEED!!! I’m still going to be the biggest loser and Toni it’s okay!  We can have bad days just remember the good always outweighs ( no pun intended) the bad!  Keep your heads up!  Here’s to my 1 pound *****!!!!!!!!!! LOL

So excited!

I’m so excited about my weigh-in today!  I must be nuts but I can’t wait until 5:00 p.m.  Thanks to all you wonderful people who continually encourage me!
